The first match of the three-match ODI series between India and West Indies is being played in Chennai. After a 2–1 win in the T20 series, India is now ready to start with a win in the ODIs. In the match on Sunday, West Indies captain Kieron Pollard won the toss and invited India to bat once again.
At the same time, Virat Kohli, the captain of the Indian team, revealed his playing XI during the toss. Compared to the last match of the T20 series, India made Kedar Jadhav once again in the team, making two changes in the first ODI. Ravindra Jadeja has returned in place of injured Bhubaneswar.

Among the bowlers, Deepak Chahar is playing his second ODI match today. He played his first match against Afghanistan in Dubai in 2018. In such a situation, he has got a chance in the team once again. Apart from these, Kuldeep has also returned to the ODI team after August. In the last match of the T20 series, Kuldeep took two wickets in his name.
